Vivian’s passion for the arts is evident in her over thirty year involvement with and contribution to arts and education communities in Toronto. As a visual arts teacher with the Toronto District School Board and as the founder of Freehand School of Art in Toronto, she has focused on delivering high quality art instruction to people of all ages. In her own practice, she is compelled by her desire to show her personal vision of the world in a wide variety of media. Vivian holds degrees from the University of Toronto and a diploma in Design from Sheridan College. She has studied painting and exchanged ideas with other artists, in particular Francis J. Dvorak. Her artistic training is in drawing, painting, design, printmaking and photography.
